Question: Does OpenSIPS support PUSH notifications to the LinPhone iOS (and/or) Android softphone client?
I have been using the LinPhone solution for a couple of years now to do a PUSH to my iPhone and Android devices to "wake them up". This seems to work okay for the most part.
(Although, the LinPhone back-end has not been accepting new accounts or registrations since at least Sunday, 6/9/2019.)
Thanks for the detailed write-up, Ward!

[WM: Theoretically, yes. But we've had much better success using the free 3CX clients with both iOS and Android. It just works. Never a hiccup. Of course, you have to set up a free 3CX server to use their clients.]

Hello:
I don't have nor want a Skyetel account - I have enough accounts already! :) :)

How can I setup voip.ms or Anveo Direct or Anveo Retail trunks to make or receive calls?

Thank you.

[WM: With VoIP.ms, you'd set up a SIP SubAccount and, for Authentication Type, choose Static IP Authentication and enter your OpenSIPS server IP address. For Transport, choose UDP. For Device Type, choose Asterisk, IP PBX, Gateway or VoIP Switch. Then point your DID to this SubAccount. Before doing this, I'd recommend you hold off until next week's article, and we'll show you a better way to handle trunks.]

You say "We’ve already created the Dial Plan rule for calling out by dialing 1 plus a 10-digit number" But I don't see where you added the dial plan rule above or am I blind?

Fixed!
Did not realize that Vultr's VPS is KVM. Did a complete re-install of VPS then did cp -p /root/kvm/* /root/ before /root/install.

Also, at end of install used /root/add-ip to add my IP and did a re-boot.

Thanks Ward! :)
